If your teen loves to read, a cruise is the perfect opportunity to dive into a few good books. Although many cruise ships say that they have a library onboard, the books available are not necessarily the ones your teen will want to read. Here is a listing of Popular Books for Teens that adults can’t stop reading, too.

Where can you read on a cruise ship?
There are lots of places to read depending on the ship you sail. Be prepared with more than one reading spot on the cruise ship in case your private reading oasis gets interrupted.
Here are a few options:
- Outdoors: Beach-style chairs can be found pretty much on every level of the cruise ship. Depending on your sailing, you may find that one side of the ship is more windy than the other. The upper decks on a cruise ship tend to be the windiest, but you can typically find a reading nook that is sheltered from the wind.
- Indoor Lounges: Lounges that are bustling in the evening often make wonderful reading spaces during the day.
- Cabin Room: If you chose a cabin room with a balcony, reading on your own balcony is ideal. (Note: You can select your room but you cannot select your neighbours so have a back-up plan.) If you have kids that aren’t interested in reading, drop them off at the kid’s club so that they can burn off some energy while you enjoy some reading time.
- Library Onboard: The library on the cruise ship is one or two bookshelves and a couple of chairs and that’s it (if you are lucky). Some cruise ships may have books that you can borrow, but always bring your books from home to avoid disappointment.
That’s a wrap to the Popular Books for Teens that adults can’t stop reading. What popular teen books would you add to the list?
Until Next Time,
Happy Reading!!
